Our office is located directly opposite the gates of Elk River Club and we offer some of the finest North Carolina real estate that is up for grabs. History:

Elk River Club allows you to live in the moment whilst also being able to appreciate its history. Elk River Club was founded in 1982 by the innovation and vision of Harry and Spencer Robbins. They wanted to bring top-level golf and luxury living to the High Country and we have been reaping the rewards of their drive ever since. The two brothers partnered with Jack Nicklaus to design a signature golf course right here in Elk River Club and we believe that it has remained the exact same course to this day.

Golf:

The next part of the beautiful Elk River Club that we want to look more closely at is what it is known so well for - the golf. Since its opening in 1984, the Jack Nicklaus signature golf course in Elk River Club has remained one of North Carolina’s top ten golf courses and we believe that it is in the most beautiful area to play that the eastern USA has to offer; the natural topography, silence of the mountains and breathtaking views and colors put the Elk River Golf Club into a world of its own.

Equestrian:

The equestrian center at Elk River Club caters to horse enthusiasts. Whether you have your own horse at the center or you just enjoy riding, the Elk River Club provides programs that are overseen by some of the best riding professionals in North Carolina. The club offers trail riding through the forest that is right beside the equestrian center which is a beautiful way to spend your morning or afternoon, especially in the Fall when the leaves offer a spectacle of color. The equestrian center really makes the Elk River Club stand out as one of the best-gated communities in the High Country due to its endless amenities.

Tennis:

Elk River Club offers top of the range tennis courts for members to play on, whether it be a friendly, social match or a competitive tournament, the Elk River Club caters to all skill levels. The director of tennis, Harold "H" Wetzel, and his staff host multiple events every week such as competitive matches, private and group lessons, summer camps for kids, charity tournaments and even exciting professional exhibition matches.

Fitness:

As previously mentioned, you are never short for something to do during your time at the Elk River Club. We believe that it is vital to living a healthy and happy lifestyle. The Elk River Club offers the opportunity to stay fit and healthy every day through its wellness center. This facility includes a modern swimming pool, state of the art wellness center, group classes, personalized coaching, and spa services. We think that these amenities are amazing for the days that you can’t play golf or ride your horse or play tennis.

Fishing:

Becoming more and more popular throughout the High Country is fly fishing. The beautifully clean Elk River runs for half a mile through the Elk River Club. The river is best known for its trout and for being one of the best rivers for fly fishing that Western North Carolina/Eastern Tennessee has to offer. The ponds and lakes throughout Elk River Club also give the chance to young fishing men and women to get into the sport in a safe and relaxed environment.

Events and Lifestyle:

Once you go through the tunnel into Elk River Club, you're brought into a whole new world. It’s a world where the pressure from work, society and fast city living just disappears. Elk River Club lifestyle is one like no other here in the High Country. You will meet hundreds of amazing, like-minded people who all share the same passion for life and living as each other. In terms of events, Elk River Club offers fine dining events, themed dinners, parties, casual patio dinners. The Elk River Club really is a different way of life.

Airport:

Elk River Club’s most distinctive feature has to be its airport. At 3,568 feet elevation and a length of 4,600 feet, the airport can cater to private jets and most other aircraft. The airport is exclusively for Elk River property owners and their guests. The convenience of the airport really separates Elk River from any other community in the High Country and is in a league of its own as property owners and guests can fly from anywhere to land only minutes from their home.

All in all, we have made up our minds that we love Elk River Club and are so proud to be the preferred realtor to the Club.
